Event Planner


OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Event Planner to join our events team and coordinate several events during the year, including small, intimate dinners for our Founders Society, larger forums, galas and World E-Sports Competition Game . The Event Planner will assist in sourcing venues, designing the attendee experience, and helping to make our team’s vision a reality.

The ideal candidate is experienced and/or excited about the events industry and is available during our events to plan remotely and if possible, attend in person. They should be detail-oriented, organized, and positive. The ability to think quickly and adapt to unforeseen circumstances is a plus.

Events are held in Miami and New York City. It is ideal that the Event Planner can attend events in person, though this is not a must.

This role is entirely volunteer-based with no payment offered.

Essential Job Functions

  • Attend occasional Zoom event planning meetings
  • Complete venue outreach
  • Manage a budget
  • Collect guest registration information (sometimes through Google Forms)
  • Finalize the menu and work with restaurants or catering companies to confirm that the guests’ dietary restrictions are met
  • Email guests with event information

Creative Content Writer


OVERVIEW

We are looking for talented Blogger to generate engaging, original content that aligns with E-Sports Foundation strategic goals. The Blogger will research topics and develop interesting posts that will appeal to our target audience. You should be a skilled, tech-savvy writer who can create appealing, insightful posts that will reach and grow our audience.


You should be creative, adaptable, and analytical with excellent writing skills and a unique voice. Content will be published via Mailchimp and circulated to our other platforms via our marketing team.

Essential Job Functions

  • Generating, researching and pitching ideas for posts
  • Writing, editing and publishing (via Mailchimp) content (500 words) twice a month.
  • Staying current on trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content

Must Haves

  • Working towards or received a Bachelor’s or Master degree in English, Communications or Marketing.

Social Media Specialist


Essential Job Functions

  • Manage social media accounts including, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Produce engaging, interactive content that aligns with E-Sports Foundation’s strategic goals. Monitor brand consistency across platforms. Develop, execute, and measure creative social media actions and audience engagement opportunities
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report regularly on performance of social media accounts and their impact on organization and team-wide goals.
  • Monitor social media accounts of peer organizations; share relevant materials, reports, and recommend opportunities for aligned partnerships.
  • Promote E-Sports Foundation through organic and paid tactics to increase brand awareness, drive web traffic, and expand online constituency (including email subscribers and donors).
  • Identify and build relationships with promotional partners and social media influencers, including managing social media advocates for E-Sports Foundation.
  • Develop strategy and train staff to expand team and individual social media use, understanding, and consult on how to integrate social media into operational and programmatic strategies and tactics.
  • Create reports and analysis on social media, online advocacy, and new media trends as well as new tools and resources as it pertains to E-Sports Foundation.

  • Provide creative direction for each program (social media posts, newsletter, email blast, etc.) to ensure all aligns with our organizational objectives while maximizing donor engagement and donations
  • Manage social media accounts including, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report regularly on performance of social media accounts and their impact on organization and team-wide goals. 
  • Monitor social media accounts of peer organizations; share relevant materials, reports, and recommend opportunities for aligned partnerships.
  • Manage the relationship with marketing agency, briefing them on upcoming campaigns, objectives and targets, defining KPI’s around monthly campaigns.
  • Produce engaging, interactive content that aligns with BC’s strategic goals. Monitor brand consistency across platforms. Develop, execute, and measure creative social media actions and audience engagement opportunities
